Hey Friends of the MAFK. I am so sorry I have been MIA for so long. I have some health issues that have kept me from writing and sharing songs with you all. However, today I’m feeling good and I thinks time to end this week with some tunes. Also In am hoping to write on some other topics soon. Thanks to my fellow MAFK for keeping the home fires burning.
Song 1: Animal – Def Leppard & Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
No secret I love Def Leppard. The lads will release an reimagining of some their hits on a new Album called Drastic Symphonies. Animal is the first release. More on this when the full album is released.
Song 2: Use My Voice -Evanescence
My family and I just got back from PA a few weeks ago. my wife and older kids went to see Evanescence this was a bucket list band for my wife . I am not able to do go to live shows etc at the moment, but the new music is awesome..
Song 3: Another Saturday Night – Sam Cooke
This song has been in my mind all week. It brings memories of cruising around my hometown with my Mom as a kid. Enjoy!
Song 4: Duke of Earl – Gene Chandler
Keeping the memories going. When I was in 9th Grade circa 1991 I was in men’s chorus. It was at our spiring concert that we sung this song. As a chubby kid my life was made because we sung the song with the women chorus around us.. Good times.
Song 5: What’s Her Name? – 30 Odd Foot of Grunts
I love this band,I have listened to them for many many years. the joke is that this is the greatest song ever recorded. See if you know the Lead singer.
